We have compiled the answers to the most frequently asked questions here to provide immediate answers and help you organise your stay at our Lac du Jaunay campsite.

General information

Quels sont les horaires d’ouvertures du service réservation, lorsque le camping est fermé What are the opening hours of the reservations department when the campsite is closed ?

The campsite reservation service is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 5pm.

What is the minimum length of stay?

From 18 April to 12 July and from 1 to 28 September :

Rented accommodation: minimum stay 2 nights

Bare pitch: Minimum stay 1 night

From 12 July to 31 August :

Bare pitch: minimum stay 2 nights

Rented accommodation: Minimum stay 7 nights

What are the arrival and departure times for the rentals?

Arrival times for rental accommodation are from 4pm.

If you arrive after reception closing time, an envelope will be left in your name with the map and keys to your accommodation at the bar. Please contact reception on +33 2.51.22.91.61 to inform us of your late arrival.

Departure times for rentals are until 10am.

What are the arrival and departure times for campsites?

Arrival times for bare camping pitches are from 12h

Arrival times for pitches with individual sanitary facilities are from 2pm.

Departure times for pitches are until 12h.

Is there a parking space for my vehicle?

Yes, each pitch or accommodation includes a parking space on the pitch.

Booking and payment

How do I book my holiday?

You can book your stay directly on our website or by telephone on +33 2.51.22.91.61. If you need any assistance, our team will be happy to help you.

Can I take out an option?

Of course, it is possible to place an option for a stay, valid within 10 days. This gives you time to think about the final details.

An option email will then be sent to you with a payment link to follow up this option. The option will then change to ‘Booked’ status on receipt of payment.

If the 10-day period is exceeded, the option will be deleted.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Credit Card
  • Cash

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay will be required at the time of booking. A booking confirmation will be sent to you on receipt of payment.

How can I change my booking?

Changes to your booking (dates of stay, category of accommodation, number of people) must be requested in writing by email to contact@camping-du-lac-du-jaunay.com or by telephone on +33 2.51.22.91.61. Reservations are subject to availability.

An email confirming the changes will be sent to you. If the requested changes are not possible, the original booking conditions will apply, or you may cancel your stay in accordance with our cancellation policy.

When do I have to pay the balance of my stay?

30 days before the start of your holiday.

If you wish to pay your balance by holiday vouchers, please contact us by telephone on +33 2.51.22.91.61 so that we can specify this on your booking form.

Regulations and policy

Do I have to pay a deposit for my rental?

Yes, a deposit of 200€ will be required for the accommodation on arrival, by cheque.

There is also a €70 cleaning deposit, which may be debited if all the conditions are not met on departure.

Do I need to make an appointment for the outgoing inspection of my rental property?

Yes, a time for the inventory of fixtures will be arranged with reception, depending on the time slots available on the schedule, between 8am and 10am. Rented accommodation must be vacated before 10am.

The inventory of fixtures is carried out in your presence on the day of your departure, in order to check that your accommodation has been returned in a clean state, that there is no damage and that the keys have been returned. If everything is in order, your deposit will be returned in person. If you leave outside these times, the deposit will not be returned or destroyed until we have inspected the accommodation. The key must be left with our staff or, in the event of early departure, left in the letterbox.

What are the lake regulations?

The lake is closed to swimming, but water sports such as pedalos, paddling, canoeing and fishing are permitted.

What are the pool rules?

Please note that the swimming pools are not supervised. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Appropriate swimming attire (no shorts or clothing) is required. It is forbidden to run or dive in the pool area.

Are campfires and charcoal barbecues permitted?

Campfires and open fires are strictly prohibited. Only barbecues using equipment approved by the management are permitted.

Gas barbecues can be hired for €3 per day.

Can I have visitors during my stay?

Visitors must report to reception and are admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. Campers may receive one or more visitors at reception.

If these visitors are allowed to enter the campsite, the camper receiving them must pay a fee of 5€, as the visitor has access to the campsite services and/or facilities, with the exception of access to the swimming pool.

This fee is displayed at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. Visitors’ cars are not permitted on the campsite.

Are there any timetables for noise pollution?

The campsite is a place where everyone can relax. Please respect your neighbours, especially after 10pm.

Campsite users are urged to avoid any noise or discussion that might disturb their neighbours. Sound equipment must be adjusted accordingly. Doors and boot lids must be closed as discreetly as possible.

All customers are responsible for any disturbance or nuisance they cause, as well as that caused by people staying with them or visiting them.

Parents, you are responsible for your children! In the evening, they must cross the campsite in silence. There must be complete silence between 11pm and 7am.

Facilities and Services

Are pets allowed?

Yes, our furry friends are welcome!

Only 1st and 2nd category dogs are strictly forbidden on the campsite premises.

Pets are accepted in the accommodation and on the campsite pitches for a supplement of €8 per day per pet.

Animals must :

  • be kept on a lead on the campsite premises
  • Not to be left alone in the accommodation
  • Their droppings must be collected by their owners

What other services are available at the campsite?

Our campsite offers a range of services to make your stay a pleasant one:

  • A bar-restaurant serving traditional cuisine and takeaways
  • A water park with an outdoor swimming pool and a paddling pool
  • A mini watersports centre with canoes, kayaks and paddles for hire, and a discount with our partner Canoévasion on presentation of your wristband.
  • A multi-sports ground with a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables and a bouncy castle
  • A play area for children
  • Communal toilets cleaned regularly

Is there any entertainment at the campsite?

Yes, you’ll find it all around the restaurant, where concerts by local groups, themed evenings and other entertainment will be organised throughout the summer.

Sunday welcome drinks will also add a touch of conviviality to your stay.

Are there any activities for children?

Yes, our Mini-Club welcomes children aged 5 to 12. It’s open in July and August from Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Treasure hunts, creative workshops, crazy challenges, face painting etc… Lots of activities to liven up their holidays.

Our bouncy castle pitch and children’s play area will add to the fun.

Options and additional services

Is cleaning included in my rental?

No, cleaning at the end of your stay is not included in your rental.

If you do not wish to add cleaning costs, we would ask you to leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.

Can I hire fridges?

Yes, when you make your reservation and subject to availability, you can hire a fridge for €5/night.

Can I hire baby equipment?

Yes, we can rent you a baby bath, a cot with mattress and/or a high chair

Can I choose my location?

Yes, this is possible, you can select your preferred location, in a specific area, next to your friends or family. You can indicate your preference in the ‘Comments’ box when you make your reservation. (Subject to availability)

Can I hire sheets?

We do not rent sheets.
